STAY ACTIVE! Regular exercise is more powerful than any medication for improving the condition of your heart, reducing blood pressure, strengthening muscles and activating your brain. Walk, run, or participate in other aerobic exercise for at least 20 minutes every day. A recent Finish study found that the death rate among aerobically unfit older men was 2.75 times higher than the death rate among their aerobically fit counterparts.
